Locanda ai Portici was our absolute favorite restaurant in Verona! The setting by the river made for a beautiful and relaxing dining experience. We tried red wine risotto for the first time, and it was incredible—rich, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. We also shared the traditional Veronese cheese board, which was a great way to sample local flavors. Highly recommend for an authentic and memorable meal!

We found it accidentally while sightseeing in Verona. After a hot day we vent there to have a traditional local dinner. Staff were kind and helpful. Food and drinks were excellent. After this experience I have to admit that there is life beyond pasta and pizza too in Italy. Delicious local dishes were served. Definitely we'll be back.

A nice restaurant in a romantic corner of Verona. We came across it completely by accident. We wanted to sit under the stone arcade, but we got so much more! The food was delectable! The atmosphere was also wonderful. The place seems elegant and it is, but the prices are not exorbitant. It's just a shame that we had to remind the waiters about the wine we ordered and wait a very long time for the bill (at the same time, we weren't even offered the opportunity to pay by card). Despite these trifles, the evening was successful.

Found this beautiful place by accident whilst walking around Verona. We only wanted a small lunch so had the meat and cheese platter for two people and it was delicious
